On 23-24 February 2007 in polish city of Wroclaw was held an International Europe – Ukraine Forum. The organizer of it was Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies (Poland) – a founder and conductor of the annual Economic Forum in Krynica.
The Europe-Ukraine Forum 2007 aimed to be the platform for bringing out new inspirations and ideas on the relations between Ukraine and the European countries, particularly the EU member states. The main objectives of discussion were political and economic perspectives of integration processes of Ukraine to the Community of Europe; what is Ukrainian community and what should be done to guarantee stable and constructive environment for strong vibrant and mutually advantageous cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
Among participants of event were officials, Members of European Parliament, Members of Parliaments of European states, Members of Ukrainian Parliament, representatives of NGOs and business entities.
UAEI was a co-organizer
of the Forum; we provided and supported participation of representatives of Ukrainian local authorities, Members of Ukrainian Parliament, representatives of NGOs. Also, specially for this Forum, UAEI has prepared analytical materials ‘Ukraine on the way to Europe: Experience on Implementation of Entrepreneurship Reforms’
Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies and Ukrainian Academy of European Integration have reached an agreement with regard to further partnership and co-operation within the framework of preparation the autumnal Economic Forum in Krynica. UAEI will be an organizer of panels of discussion and presentations there.
